Air Conditioning Trainer with TXV

  • Thermal Expansion Valve A/C trainer has all the components of an automotive R-134a TXV system
  • Trainer has a clear sight glass parallel with the receiver/drier to show refrigerant flow
  • Clear sight glasses at the condenser and evaporator to show the refrigerant change of state throughout
  • TXV has adjustable built-in heater for system performance demonstrations
  • High and low side pressure gauges and OEM R-134a service ports allow hook up to standard gauge sets for diagnostics
  • Trainer allows various different conditions to be created with the built in ball valves on the high and low sides of system
  • Four digital temp readouts for inlet and outlet of the condenser and evaporator allow students to see complete A/C operation. Temp gauge sensors are located inside the A/C lines to give accurate readings

Air Conditioning Trainer with Orifice Tube

  • Orifice tube A/C trainer has all components of an automotive R-134a orifice tube system
  • Has a custom clear accumulator with internal light showing refrigerant operation and change of state
  • Clear sight glasses at the inlet, middle, and outlet of the condenser and evaporator show change of state of refrigerant
  • Orifice tube is housed in a clear sight glass to show students the change of state through the component and refrigerant flow

CAN Networking Trainer

  • Provides students the ability to wire a CAN Bus system with jumper wires
  • Has 4 individual modules -- Input, Output, ECM, Murphy Display (Instrument Cluster), to communicate through the CAN (J1939) network
  • Inputs switches are sent from different modules to the output module via the CAN network. With the CAN networking you can see the factory data packets on the CAN lines
  • 12 faults to allow the students test system with real world symptoms
  • Trainer powered by a single 12v DC 20 amp power supply that requires 120v AC to operate
  • Front of the table has an analog volt and amp meter to display system power
  • Panels are interchangeable with our HD Lighting Trainer to allow for expansion capabilities
  • Panels mounted on a single sided or optional double sided frame (for 2 students).
